Reverend John Keogh of Cornwall, NY, built a small chapel in Washingtonville in 1872 and held mass in it each month. St. Mary's was founded as its parish in 1903, with Reverend John Tetreau as resident pastor. Thanks to the efforts of Reverend Tetreau, the church was expanded from a one-room building into a ''commodious rectory." He included several additions, including 40 carriage sheds for worshipers. The church had a magnificent pipe organ, comfortable seating, and was heated by steam. St. Mary's is now the Catholic parish serving Washingtonville, New York, and parts of Salisbury Mills, Campbell Hall, Monroe, Blooming Grove, Chester, and New Windsor.

St. Mary's needed more space for their growing parish, so a new one had been built with 10 classrooms and parish offices. St. Mary's has 2,300 parishioners present at Masses each weekend and 750 children in grades one through seven attending religious education classes.
In 1883, the original structure was built for the manufacturer of overalls, plumbing supplies, and cigars. In 1913, Cohen's Opera House was created within the manufacturing building and opened on February 4, 1913. Many legends of the Vaudeville Era played on its stage. In 1933, Eugene Levy purchased and renovated the theater and renamed it the Ritz. It was then that the theater began its most illustrious chapter, with big-name films and live performances. After closing its doors in 1999, the theater sat vacant until 2002; when the Ritz Theater and the adjoining Hotel Newburgh were purchased by Safe Harbors of the Hudson, a supportive housing and arts non-profit organization founded by Tricia Haggerty Wenz.
This rooftop renovation was critical to complete, to maintain the historical structure of this beautiful building in the heart of Newburgh. The scope of work was to remove the existing wood roof and install a state-of-the-art steel roof deck to allow this building to weather storms for years to come. Phase 1 was the very beginning of the build back of the Ritz Theater, cheers to the team at Safe Harbors for all the work they do for our community.
The Goshen Library and Historical Society was established in 1894, on the upper floor of the Surrogate's Court Building in Goshen, New York. Until 1911, the library only accepted paying visitors and in 1918 it opened in its present location. The organization had simply outgrown its old building. The new 20,600 square foot library provides a greatly expanded children's room and activity space, an 11 handicap accessible. There is an adult service area, with comfortable seating for reading and research. The library will also feature outdoor leisure areas for reading and activities, small conference rooms, a community meeting room with room for up to 100 people, and a larger local history room.
Once the location of "Woolworth's" department store. The 13,496-square foot Woolworth in Middletown closed in 1994. The building had been unused since then except, at times for storage. The scope of work for this renovation was, demolition of the rear of the building including all finishes down to the structure, it was discovered that the existing roof deck needed to be replaced in full. In addition, front and back
brick facades work, with a beautiful outdoor covered walk-through that connects you from store to store.
To complement the building street parking was constructed to allow for easy access.
